Barack Obama Praises Work Of Late John Singleton On Twitter
Boyz n the Hood director John Singleton passed away in Los Angeles on Monday, April 29, 2019, at the age of 51.
Singleton’s family made the announcement, days after suffering a massive stroke that left him in a coma.
Actors, such as Ice Cube, Samuel L. Jackson and Regina King mourned his loss on social media.

According to UPROXX, former president Barack Obama also took to Twitter to say a few words, the day after singleton’s passing to pay tribute to the renowned filmmaker.
The 44th president expressed his condolences and mentioned his debut film, “Boyz n the Hood.”
