Brendan Fraser ready to pull up socks to return for ‘The Mummy‘ Sequel
The mischevious actor Brendan Fraser is all set to return for his most famed and beloved role of Rick O’Connell from The Mummy Franchise.
Remember the very first Mummy movie in 1999? It received an enormous response and thereafter the sequels were introduced in 2001 and 2008 likewise a spin-off movie, The Scorpion King featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
So, will there be a Mummy sequel?
Although it’s been more than 10 years since the last installment of Fraser’s The Mummy, it doesn’t seem that Brendan Fraser is gonna stop himself doing the rugged Rick O’Connell role. Means the probability exists.
What is he currently doing?
Nowadays, Fraser has apparently distanced himself from the film world that gained him popularity throughout the 1990s and 2000s, He has turned more towards TV roles, like 2018’s Trust and the famous Doom Patrol, a DC Superhero TV show starring as Robotman.
In an interview with GQ, he revealed there were a lot of reasons to take this decision to move away from the limelight. One of them is his tough life.
He told he has to spend time in the hospital for various surgeries, also moving, divorce, and caretaking kids and a family.
“I was going through things that mold and shape you in ways that you’re not ready for until you go through them,” he said.
