Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is the NBA’s highest-paid basketball player.
Every year ‘Forbes’ releases an annual list detailing the top-earning NBA players. A Forbes survey revealed Tuesday, February 12.
The list includes names such as Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, along with James remaining at the top position for the past 5 years.
For a fifth straight year, James topped the Forbes’ list of top earners in the league — which factors in salaries, endorsements, appearances, royalties, and media pacts. The top ten earners combined make $540 million approximately. Yep, you read that right!
As per the Forbes report, LeBron is estimated to make a total of $88.7 million of which $53 million is made off the court.
James is an outstanding Businessman as well, and much of his success is not from traditional endorsements but from his own ventures.
He has made an investment in the Blaze Pizza company and owns 21 of the franchises in Chicago and South Florida. He has also founded a Hollywood production company, Spring-Hill entertainment, and a media firm, Uninterrupted.
