‘Aladdin’ Makes Box Office Magic
The live-action remake Aladdin makes magic at the North American Box Office on the Memorial Day weekend.
Director Guy Ritchie’s live-action version of ‘Aladdin’ has received a solid start with an amazing estimated collection of $112.7 Million over the four-day weekend.
This also makes it the fifth-highest Memorial Day weekend total ever and that’s more than the mouse house (Disney) initially projected which was only $75 Million to $85 Million.
The film took it’s flight ahead on the magic carpet to the Box Office despite the concerns back in February when the trailer featuring Will Smith as ‘Genie’ was released.
Will Smith’s ‘Genie’ had fans worried that the film wouldn’t do justice to the beloved Robin William’s animated original ‘Genie’.
