Netflix’s Sound Quality Gets Huge Boost Thanks To Stranger Things
According to Digital Trends Netflix has added a brand-new High-quality audio feature that will appeal to those with nice sound bars or surround sound setups.
The streaming Giant is now concerned about a better viewing experience and sound quality for audiences.
It all started with season 2 of the company’s popular series and fan favorite Netflix’s original, Stranger Things, which begins with a car chase.
Audiences may not have noticed the so-called sound issues.
When watching the first episode in the living room environment, show creators Mat and Ross Duffer noticed the audio wasn’t coming through as crisp or cleanly as it did on the final sound mix in the studio.
They turned to Netflix to solve the problem. The streaming Giant not only obliged but put a team of engineers on the task of improving the sound quality throughout the company’s programming.
In an official statement, Netflix has shared that it is now using “high-quality audio,” which takes our sound quality to another level,” adding that it “delivers audio that sounds closer to what creators hear in the studio, so every little detail is captured for a richer, more intense experience.”
