‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ Receives Six-Minute Standing Ovation at Cannes Film Festival
The Oscar-winning director Quentin Tarantino’s latest masterpiece received an insanely long six-minute standing ovation after it’s Cannes Film Festival world premiere.
The audience after the premiere were buzzing that the film was fantastic.
Director Tarantino and film’s leading stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt & Margot Robbie soaked up the deafening cheers.
The film rode to Cannes with serious hype because of its cast and the fact that this is DiCaprio’s first film in four years since his Oscar-winning movie ‘The Revenant’.
On the eve of the premiere, Tarantino released a statement asking audience members for no spoilers when they wrote about the film which adds an extra layer of mystery to the project.
The Sony Entertainment chief Tom Rothman told the Hollywood Reporter, “I hope the no spoilers holds up, it is the greatest ending ever.”
