Oprah Winfrey Says Meghan Markle Is Treated ‘Unfairly’ by the Press
Winfrey recently appeared on ‘CBS This Morning’, Wednesday where she stood up for the Duchess of Sussex and also spoke to co-anchor and best friend Gayle King.
“I think she’s being portrayed unfairly. I feel that if people really knew her, they would know that she is not only everything you perceive her as being-graceful and dynamic in holding that position but that she just has wonderful warm, giving funny heart. Winfrey also added that Markle avoids reading negative press about herself revealing that she doesn’t go on Twitter and doesn’t read any headline written about her.

Winfrey additionally said she set aside the effort to promote her new book, ‘The Path Made Clear,’ just as her new partnership with Prince Harry.
Winfrey and Prince Harry will serve as co-creators and executive producers of a new mental health docu-series, launching on Apple’s new Apple TV+ programming.
“Our hope is that it will have an impact on reducing the stigma and allowing people to know they’re not alone, allowing people to speak up about [mental illness] and identify it in themselves and their friends.”
