‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ is getting re-released by Sony!!!
Sony’s top-grossing film of all time at the global box office is coming back to theaters with four minutes of new footage.
Leaving behind the James Bond installment Skyfall (2012) with $1.108 billion, the superhero film’s global gross stood at $1.109 billion and became the highest-grossing Sony movie of all time.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the re-release will take place before the Labor Day Weekend in beginning of September with screenings on Thursday, August 29th at select theaters.
In the rerelease announcement, Sony didn’t reveal what the new footage will contain, other than hints about being an action sequence.
Far From Home is a sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming which stars Tom Holland as the web-slinging hero, & was produced by Kevin Feige’s Marvel Studios, home of Disney’s blockbuster Avengers series.
