The ‘Girls Like You’ singer Adam Levine’s departure from The Voice is coming with a heavy price tag
The Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine walks away from a nearly $30 Million paycheck as he leaves behind the judges’ chair of The Voice.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Levine signed on to two more seasons of the singing competition show before ultimately deciding not to return.
This sudden departure will cost Adam a $30 Million two year payday.
The reason behind his abrupt exit was the time commitment of The Voice.
The shows audition rounds were very long filming days, while the live shows would stretch out over weeks. This was limiting the singer’s other lucrative time opportunities like touring.
Adam Levine is now fully out of business with NBC, he’s now the executive producer of the new music competition series Songland which just premiered with solid ratings.
