The Matrix is coming back to theaters to celebrate its 20th anniversary
The science fiction action film “The Matrix” is once again stepping into theaters for one week to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
In particular, it’ll be screened in the 135 Dolby Cinema AMC theaters around the nation, from August 30th to September fifth.
The movie was written and directed by sibling duo Lana and Lilly Wachowski, was released on March 31st, 1999 so technically AMC ( American Multi-Cinema) is running little behind.
Yet, given that the film turned out such a long time ago, there are likely a lot of fans who never got the opportunity to see it appropriately in theaters.
Or on the other hand, more skeptically, given Keanu Reeves‘ ongoing current keep running of popular culture publicity (explicitly, the prevalence of John Wick 3 and his viral “stunning” E3 appearance), it’s conceivable both Warner Bros. also, AMC needs to capitalize on the minute with the limited release which just fortuitously can be attached to the noteworthy commemoration of the film as a reason to broaden the late spring of Keanu.
